James Broder is a Managing Director in Global Capital Raising and Investor Relations at Starwood Capital Group, where he is responsible for targeted regions and investors.
Prior to joining Starwood Capital in 2012, Mr. Broder spent 15 years as a Senior Managing Director in Fixed Income at Bear Stearns, with a focus on institutional rate sales. After Bear Stearns’ takeover in 2008, he moved to Deutsche Bank, where he served as a Managing Director in Fixed Income, in middle market sales. He subsequently served as a Managing Director at Pierpont Securities. He formerly sat on the Board of Directors for Autism Speaks for almost 10 years.
Mr. Broder received a B.A. degree from George Washington University’s International Business School.

Khalif Edwards is a Managing Director in Global Capital Raising and Investor Relations at Starwood Capital Group. In this role, he is responsible for raising capital within North America on behalf of the Firm’s private investment funds and co-investments.
Prior to joining Starwood Capital in 2021, Mr. Edwards was a Managing Director and Head of Capital Raising and Investor Relations for Cityview. Before that, Mr. Edwards spent eight years at Clarion Partners where he oversaw capital raising and investor relations for the Western United States. He also worked at Nuveen Asset Management (formerly TIAA-CREF), Merrill Lynch and Eastdil Secured.
Mr. Edwards received a B.A. in economics from Stanford University and an M.B.A from Columbia Business School.

Khaled Farouki is a Managing Director in Global Capital Raising and Investor Relations at Starwood Capital Group, where he is responsible for raising capital in Europe and selective markets in the Middle East on behalf of the Firm’s private investment funds and co-investments.
Prior to joining Starwood Capital, Mr. Farouki led capital raising across EMEA at Henderson Park Capital Partners. He also previously spent several years at Lazard within the private capital advisory team, focused on alternative investments.
Mr. Farouki has received a B.S. in finance from Regents Business School London.

David Muren is a Managing Director in Global Capital Raising and Investor Relations at Starwood Capital Group. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing project management.
Prior to joining Starwood Capital in 2017, Mr. Muren spent six years as a Director on Angelo, Gordon & Co.’s Investor Relations team. Before that, he held various positions in the real estate groups at Lehman Brothers and then Barclays Capital, including working on CMBS securitizations and debt syndications.
Mr. Muren received a B.S. degree in operations research and industrial engineering from Cornell University.

Jun Park is a Managing Director in Capital Raising and Investor Relations at Starwood Capital Group. In this role, he is responsible for raising capital in Asia on behalf of the Firm’s private investment funds and co-investments. Mr. Park previously served in Starwood Capital’s Acquisitions Group and helped assemble a portfolio of retail assets for affiliate Starwood Retail Partners.
Prior to joining Starwood Capital in 2013, Mr. Park worked in the real estate banking practice at Korea Exchange Bank. He began his career in investment operations at Government of Singapore Investment Corp in Seoul, Korea.
Mr. Park received a B.S. degree from KyungHee University and a master’s degree focusing in real estate from Harvard Graduate School of Design.

Daniel Choi is a Director in Global Capital Raising and Investor Relations at Starwood Capital Group. In this role, he is responsible for raising capital in Asia on behalf of the Firm’s private investment funds and co-investments.
Prior to joining Starwood Capital in 2021, Mr. Choi was a Partner at The Townsend Group. He spent eight years at Townsend’s private equity real estate group, where he was responsible for discretionary portfolio management, investment underwriting, due diligence, and business development in the Asia Pacific region. Before that, he was an equity sales associate at CLSA. He began his career in a finance division at Hyundai Corporation as a junior analyst.
Mr. Choi received a B.A. degree in economics and theology from Yonsei University.

Marcia Glass is a Director in Global Capital Raising and Investor Relations at Starwood Capital Group, where she is responsible for raising capital within the Americas’ on behalf of the Firm’s private investment funds and co-investments.
Prior to joining Starwood Capital in 2024, Ms. Glass was a Senior Vice President of Institutional Sales at Cohen & Steers. Before that, Ms. Glass spent twelve years with CenterSquare Investment Management in public and private real assets capital raising, marketing and investor relations. Prior to that, she worked in the Prime Brokerage division of Goldman, Sachs & Co.
Ms. Glass received a B.A. in economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
