Christian S. Dalzell is the global Director of Finance and Capital Markets for Starwood Capital Group and is responsible for all debt capital market activities (domestic and international) for all of Starwood’s funds and Starwood Property Trust, including all asset level and fund/corporate level capital market activity.

 

Mr. Dalzell came to Starwood Capital from Eastdil Secured in March, 2010, where he was Head of Debt Placement for the Structured Transactions Group since 2006. While at Eastdil, Mr. Dalzell was responsible for the origination and execution of debt placement transactions, senior and subordinate loan sales, UCC Public Sales, and equity recapitalizations. Prior to joining Eastdil, Mr. Dalzell spent over ten years at Banc of America Securities LLC where, most recently, he was the Regional Manager - West Region of the CMBS Capital Markets Group. During the past 15 years, Mr. Dalzell has amassed extensive experience in all facets of the mortgage finance industry; successfully originating and closing over $26 billion in transactions since 2000.
