Nate Bagnaschi is a Managing Director in Capital Markets at Starwood Capital Group. In this role, Mr. Bagnaschi is responsible for the origination, structuring and execution of asset-level and fund/corporate-level financing activity for the Firm’s investments in the Americas.
Prior to joining Starwood Capital in 2016, Mr. Bagnaschi served as head of the capital markets group at Garrison Investment Group, where he was responsible for structuring real estate, distressed debt and fund-level financings. Before that, he was an Associate in the asset management and special servicing group at Gramercy Capital, where was responsible for managing a portfolio of whole loans, secured B-notes and mezzanine loan positions within the firm’s finance business. Mr. Bagnaschi previously worked in the real estate finance and securitization group at Credit Suisse.
Mr. Bagnaschi received a B.A. degree in international relations, with minors in economics and Hispanic studies, from the University of Pennsylvania.
Senior Vice President, Capital Markets, International

Andrew Coop is a Senior Vice President in Capital Markets, International at Starwood Capital Group. In this role, Mr. Coop is responsible for the structuring and execution of financing for the firm’s equity and debt investments in Europe and Asia, managing the firm’s foreign exchange hedging policy globally and implementing interest rate hedging for the European and Asian investment portfolio.
Prior to joining Starwood Capital, Mr. Coop spent three years in the real estate finance team at M&G Investments where he focused on the origination and execution of senior and mezzanine real estate loans across Europe.
Mr. Coop received a BSc (Hons) degree in Astrophysics from the University of Edinburgh and is a CFA charterholder.
Senior Vice President, Capital Markets, Europe

Jon Farkas is a Senior Vice President in Capital Markets, International at Starwood Capital Group. In this role, Mr. Farkas is responsible for financing the firm’s investments in Europe and Asia.
Prior to joining Starwood Capital, Mr. Farkas spent two years at BNP Paribas, where he was most recently a Director in the Real Estate Capital Markets team in London, focusing on European commercial real estate debt distribution. Before that, Mr. Farkas was a Senior Vice President at Colony Capital where he focused on European capital markets for Colony’s direct real estate investment business and European corporate operations. Mr. Farkas began his career as an Associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett.
Mr. Farkas received a B.A. degree in History from Rutgers College and a J.D. from Columbia Law School where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.
